The holiday season brings a special magic touch to my work as the family photographer at Catherine Chamberlain Photography. This year, I hosted a series of mini sessions at Sugarhill Studio in Longmont, Colorado. It’s not just a studio I’ve cherished working in for years; it’s also a place where I’ve built a valuable business relationship that I truly appreciate. The festive décor is always amazing, but this year just might have been my most favorite yet. The studio sparkled with garland and twinkle lights, adorned in rich colors of green, gold, and burgundy. Soft, white textured blankets and cozy rugs created a warm atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for festive family photos.

I thoroughly enjoyed the chance to connect with so many wonderful individuals in each session. Having the opportunity to photograph these families was the highlight of my day. I just loved capturing the laughter, warmth, and genuine connections between family members. The studio provided excellent props—a stylish couch, a comfortable bed, and a charming bench—which all added variety to the photo settings. Each family has received stunning images that will make delightful Christmas cards, spreading festive cheer through their holiday greetings.
