I am so excited to share my recent Boulder, CO spring Family Session at South Mesa Trailhead featuring the Faires Family! This was a last minute session, but oh my gosh was it beautiful! Sometimes those last minute sessions turn out to be the most amazing. Grandma was in town visiting and the family wanted to grab some pictures with her and Colorado’s beauty. We definitely accomplished both goals during our session together!
Boulder, CO Spring Family Session
I couldn’t be happier with the results of this family session! Even though it was near 100 degrees, the sun’s golden light was amazing. If you are wondering how to achieve light and airy images like these, the key is the sun! Photos taken during the “golden hour” (the hour before sunset), creates that warm glowy light that makes for some truly gorgeous images! Also, the Faires family did a spectacular job selecting the PERFECT outfits! Mom’s light green dress, paired with lighter neutral clothing was the perfect addition to their spring family session!
The two little kids did great too! I loved the little girl’s simple, white dress and baby boy’s adorable onesie! Seeing these two siblings together made my heart melt, as the big sister lovingly put her arm around her little brother! I am also in love with this little guy’s smile! The way he scrunches up his little nose is adorable!
If you ever have family visiting, take that opportunity to have pictures taken so that you have lasting memories to look back on! I know this family will cherish these gorgeous images for years to come. Looking back on these pictures will allow each family member to remember their time with each other during special visits like this over the years.
