Not everyone wakes up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, but Nico sure did! This early Buckingham Park cake smash session was momentous because it captured a very special milestone for the Agnello family. While commemorating Nico’s first year of life, it also marks an end to the baby stage. That is why I didn’t want to miss a single interaction between this sweet family. Their cheerful smiles and tender snuggles showcase the love between the three of them as they are beaming in every photo.
Buckingham Park Cake Smash Session
A first birthday is a special time not only for the little one in our lives, but also for the parents as well. It is important to celebrate this event as a family, and to have these memories to treasure forever because they only turn 1 once. A first birthday is not just celebrating a year of life, it is also commemorating all the milestones they’ve achieved so far. Your little one may already be pulling themselves up, crawling, or even walking. They may now be able to say “bye-bye” or even “mama” or “dada”. They have now transitioned from milk to solid food and might even understand simple commands. Peek-a-boo and hide and seek may be games often played accompanied by laughs and giggles. At lot happens in the first year of life, and simple moments are what life is made up of.
Nico was his best self at this photoshoot. Having this session in the morning was intentional because his parents thought he would do better during this time frame. The warm, inviting morning sun created the perfect setting to capture photos during the golden hour before eating his cake. Initially, he was hesitant about eating his cake, but before long Nico was diving in and living his best life. Cake for breakfast? Yes, please!
