I had the greatest time capturing this sweet family for their vibrant Golden Ponds family portraits. Mom and dad, Courtney and Adam, met me at Golden Ponds in Longmont, Co, with their adorable dog, Ginny, and their sweet little guy, Emmette! I couldn’t get enough of this precious baby boy! Emmette is six months old, which is such a fun age and a huge milestone in the first year!
Golden Ponds Family Portraits
We were blessed with the perfect day for outdoor portraits! It was a calm, bright day and only slightly chilly. The best part, however, was the absolutely stunning trees that decorated the landscape at every turn! Golden yellow and burnt orange leaves created a lovely backdrop to these Golden Ponds family portraits! We also had the place to ourselves, which was wonderful! With no one else around, we were free to explore the park, walk the path, and capture many beautiful family portraits! We even snuck in a few of just mom and dad!
Emmette was the perfect little baby! He was happy and curious looking around at all the nature with his bright blue eyes. His parents commented that they were a little shocked, as they anticipated him to be upset or crying during the shoot. While this is a concern many parents share with me, rest assured that you never need to worry! I always follow the babies’ lead and do what is best for them while still capturing the best pictures possible.
