A few weeks ago we celebrated all the amazing dads out there on Father’s Day! In honor of Father’s Day I decided to host Father’s Day Mini Sessions (for the whole family) at Golden Ponds in Longmont, CO. I was so excited to pay tribute to the dads and take a moment to recognize all they do each and every day for their families! For many little kids, their dad is their hero. The phrases, “Daddy’s little girl” or “my mini-me” come to mind. While our time together was short, I enjoyed getting to know each of the families I photographed for these special Father’s Day Mini Sessions!

The weather was perfect on our session day! Each family was absolutely adorable! While we did try to focus on dad, we still grabbed a few of the whole family! I loved watching all the dad’s interact with their children. However, being that this day was centered around the dad’s we made the sessions super quick, because we all know how much dads love having their picture taken! I thought that was the least I could do for them! HA!
I am so glad that these families chose to do a Father’s Day mini session, because now they will have these memories that will last a lifetime. Each of these families had younger children, and as any parent will tell you, it goes fast! Capturing these moments together whenever possible is crucial! I hope each of these dads not only had an amazing father’s day, but knows how truly loved and appreciated they are by their wives and children!
