One advantage of living in Northern Colorado is the opportunity to take pictures outdoors. Nature provides a perfect backdrop. While a studio is very predictable and customizable, there is something about a great photo taken outside. This outdoor Buckingham Park maternity session was simply elegant.
Family Photo Session in Boulder, CO
Nicole reached out to Catherine Chamberlain Photography to arrange for updated family photos. It was the last opportunity to have portraits as a family of three, as they are expecting! So along with family portraits we included maternity photos as well. Her family was so kind, and truly seemed relaxed during their session. Their daughter Willow was a doll and did fantastic during this winter photo shoot.
Buckingham Park Maternity Session
Buckingham Park is the perfect location for outdoor photos if you want the woodsy feel without going high up into the mountains. In addition to not being far from town, this delightful area provides a lot of variety all year round. Buckingham Park has flowering bushes in the spring, and tall grasses in the summer that edge up to the gravel paths. The deciduous trees provide stunning color in the fall, and even the pine trees look magical in the winter snow.
