Maternity sessions are some of my favorite sessions! I love capturing the glow of mom-to-be as she carries her sweet baby! It is such a fleeting time in life – one that we often don’t fully appreciate until it is over. This is why I am a huge advocate for documenting this special moment in families’ lives. Whether it is your first pregnancy or your fourth, each one deserves to be captured, cherished, and savored. You’ll want these memories to look back on when those newborns grow and become teetering toddlers, and eventually, independent teenagers. I was so excited to capture Claire’s Buckingham Park Summer Maternity Session along with her husband and little boy!
Buckingham Park Summer Maternity Session
Her maternity session was beautiful! Claire wore a lovely floral maternity dress that had muted green leaves with subtle pops of pink and orange color. Her husband’s olive green shirt played off the colors of her dress wonderfully! All three of them were so easy to work with and laid back. Their little boy was the absolute sweetest and followed all my instructions perfectly! He looked adorable in his tan overalls. I have no doubt that he will be the best big brother!
I am so glad we chose to shoot their maternity session at Buckingham Park in Boulder CO. It is such a wonderful location that offers a variety of natural backgrounds and looks. From the tall, sweeping grass, to the rushing water over the rocky river, to the tree covered hills, it is a picturesque location!
