Today, I am switching it up and sharing two amazing families that I had the pleasure of photographing back-to-back at Buckingham Park in Boulder, CO. It is pretty typical to schedule mini sessions back-to-back, but I don’t normally do full sessions like that. This was a special situation as both of these amazing families had to reschedule with me multiple times due to rain. The rain never seemed to end! Both families had sessions that were scheduled for May and we ended up shooting them in early June! I think it was well worth the wait though, because these families looked gorgeous and I had a great time with each of them! Sometimes it is worth the wait to get a perfect day like the one we were blessed with! I am in love with this Buckingham Park Family Sessions!
The Martinusen Family
The first family, the Martinusens are former clients! I photographed their vow renewal last year at Estes Park, which was such a joyful experience. You can read more and see their beautiful pictures here. I love how their two girls were involved in their vow renewal. However, looking back, I couldn’t believe how much these two girls have grown and changed! They look so much older! I loved spending time with them again, as they are all such a nice and thoughtful family!
The Ambrose Family
My second family, The Ambrose Family, was fun and easy going! I photograph a lot of younger kids and their parents, and it was nice to spend time with older siblings and capture their personalities and relationships! These sisters had a fun relationship! I loved listening to them banter back and forth! They had me smiling and laughing throughout their session!
I am so thankful that the weather finally cooperated and we were able to shoot these beautiful Buckingham Park family sessions. I absolutely loved spending time with each family!
