It is never easy to get 16 people together at the same time. Trying to match up schedules, jobs, school, and many other obligations is no easy task. In fact, it was a challenge that the Lantzy family faced, but they knew they needed to make it a priority. And they made it happen! The Lantzy extended family session at Ya Ya Orchard in Longmont, CO shows just how worth it is to bring family together to capture lifelong memories.

Even once everyone is altogether, there is no telling how everything will play out. One of the grandkids was having a hard time in the beginning taking pictures as he had just woken up from a nap. I told the family we would wait to take his picture and that they could go play somewhere else in the meantime. It took multiple tries, but by the end, he was laughing and playing with his mom, dad, and siblings. It was the best. I just had to remain flexible and assure the family that it was alright to take a break and come back later. There are many ways to gain cooperation, and we got cheerful, heartfelt photos to show for it.
