One of the wonderful aspects of friendship is that when your friends experience something great in their lives, you have the opportunity to share in their joy and celebrate alongside them. The Peterson Family maternity session was exactly that for me because they are personal friends of mine. They will soon be a family of four, and I’m over the moon for them!
Light and Airy Maternity Session at Ya Ya Orchard
Working closely with Bianca, we carefully selected the perfect date so she could have glowing sunlight and blooming flowers. I think we nailed it. Ya Ya Orchard in Longmont, Colorado provides the perfect setting for light and airy maternity photos. The soft pastels of the trees and grass beautifully complement the charming mountain in the background.
Peterson Family Maternity Session in Northern Colorado
The session was a pleasure to capture. The Petersons have a very laid-back nature, which allowed me to be more creative in capturing the shots. Their active toddler, like most little boys, kept us on our toes. To help make the session flow smoothly for him, we took several pictures and then let him run around and come back for a few more. It worked well, and that is one of the many benefits of booking a family session – we have time to get it exactly right.
To the Petersons, thank you for allowing Catherine Chamberlain Photography to be a part of creating lasting memories for your growing family. I’m so excited for you guys, and congratulations! I can’t wait to meet your little one.
