It is always interesting to see how fate can help determine the person we are meant to be with. That was the case for Travis and Alyssa. Neither of them are native to Colorado. Travis is from Michigan and Alyssa is from Louisiana. It may seem as though their paths would never have reason to cross. However, this couple had a serendipitous encounter at a kickball game. They were brought together doing something they both enjoyed—being active. Even now they enjoy other outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. This continues to keep them close, and you can see that showcased in this Boulder snowy mountain session.
South Mesa Trailhead Winter Photo Session
This gorgeous, snowy session took place in the evening and it was perfectly magical. Not only was the setting ideal, but so were my clients. They were super easy going, which made for very fun photos. When a client trusts me to direct them and help pick out spots at our location for photos, it gives me permission to be creative rather than having to worry about if they are happy or wanting this or that. Also, by them allowing me to pose them without questioning or dictating, the images always come out better since all stress is removed.
Boulder Snowy Mountain Session
I want to personally thank Travis and Alyssa for allowing me to capture these photos for them. The lighting was ideal, but again, nothing contributes more to the perfect session than wonderful, amenable people to work with. I also enjoyed capturing their dogs Aubree and Kodiak.
