I think we can all admit life at times can be more fast paced than we’d like, so it’s essential to slow down and make time for things that are truly important to us. Friendship ranks high on my list. There is something so special about a friendship that starts in your teens and carries over into adulthood. Those kinds of bonds are so rare. Do you have one of those friends that you don’t see very often, but when you do it’s like no time at all has passed? It’s great to be able to pick back up where you left off and resume your friendship. That is how things go every time I reignite my friendship with Megan. It’s also what made this particular in-home Colorado newborn session so special and unique.
In-home Family and Newborn Session
The Trecartin family recently relocated to Colorado after working in the medical field overseas. This session was lively as it was also a reunion. Megan’s sister and her family were in town. Between their children and mine, there were a grand total of 9 kids in the house during this photoshoot. However, their newborn baby was a perfect angel and slept peacefully throughout the entire session. This is the Trecartain’s third child, so hopefully he can sleep through anything with two big sisters. He was truly the perfect little newborn model.

A big thank you to the Trecartin family for opening up their home and allowing me to capture this special event. I’m so thankful that our paths crossed so many years ago, and it’s been fun to see Megan’s family grow.
